Crawford Square 42 bed Hostel, Social Housing and Flats, L'Derry

Designed in 2003 as a replacement for the Methodist Mission on Crawford Square to provide much need additional bed spaces for the homeless and victims of domestic violence.

The design sought to reflect the architectural language of the surrounding terraces within the square. The flats and social housing associated with the Hostel are seen as stepping stones for those people trying to regain a foot hold on the social ladder back into society.

Completed in 2004 at a cost of £1.6 million.
