Ulster Herald Offices, Omagh

Recently completed in October 2005, the New Headquaters for the Ulster Herald Newspaper occupies the site of the original Ulster Herald printing press, now sited at the Gortrush Industrial Estate.

The offices occupy 3 floors, 2 above the street and 1 basement level. The upper floor wraps around a central lightwell with a glass block floor allowing light to filter down into the centre of the large open plan administration area.

Located within the conservation area of Omaghs John Street, the architecture uses a limited palette of materials to sympathise with its surroundings with a modern twist.
